Barrel Swivel Black - Size 7

A barrel swivel does one job quietly — it lets your leader turn without winding twist up into your main line — and on a slip-sinker rig it does a second one that matters just as much. It's the stop. A sliding egg sinker rides down to it and goes no further, which is what lets a fish pick up your bait and move off without feeling any weight. Size 7 is the one that shows up in most of our bottom rigs, trout through catfish: strong enough for a heavy sinker and a hard hookset, small enough that it isn't the first thing a fish notices. Black finish, so there's no flash sitting a foot above what you're trying to get eaten.
