Buoyant 1/4 oz. - Chartreuse

Chartreuse is where you go when there isn't enough light for flash to do the work. Gold and silver both depend on reflecting something back at the fish, and in green algae water or under a flat grey sky there isn't much to reflect — the flash just scatters. Chartreuse doesn't need the light. Yellow-green is the last color water gives up, so it holds a hard outline after everything else has gone grey. Same thick body and wide, slow wobble as the rest of the Buoyants. Reach for it any day you lose sight of the spoon a foot under the surface.
