Berkley Gulp! Minnow 2.5" - Chartreuse Shad

Chartreuse Shad splits the difference. It's bright enough to be found in stained water or under a flat sky, but it's still a shad pattern rather than a solid block of color, so from the side it reads as something a fish already eats. On a bait this small that matters — at two and a half inches you're imitating a young-of-year minnow, and the profile does as much work as the color. Gulp is a water-based bait rather than plastic, so the scent is the material itself and leaks the whole time it's in the water. Start here in green water, or any day you don't know what they're on.
