Berkley Gulp! Minnow 2.5" - Gold Leaf

Gold Leaf is the warm one. Gold reads well in water with a tea or algae tint to it and in the last hour of light, when a silver or pearl bait goes flat and disappears — the warmer tone still separates from the background. It's a walleye and perch color first, and Utah gives you plenty of both, but it earns its keep anywhere the water has color in it and the sun is low. Fish it on a small jig head with a slow lift and drop; the split tail does its work on the fall, so give it time to get down.
