Berkley Gulp! Minnow 2.5" - Smelt

Nearly every water in this state holds something small and silver, and this is that fish — translucent, pale, no statement being made. It's the color for clear water and picked-over fish, when they get a long look at the bait and anything loud gets refused. That's also where Gulp earns its price: a fish that's studying a bait will still pick this one up, and because the scent is worked through the whole bait rather than sprayed on, it holds on a beat longer than it would a plain plastic. That beat is the hookset.
