Gold and red isn't imitating anything, and that's the point. Gold throws a warmer flash that carries further through stained and low-light water than silver does, and the red gives a following fish a specific place to aim, which is often what turns a follow into a bite. This is the one to start with at first light, under heavy cloud, or after a wind has stirred the shallows into color. Same thick body and wide wobble as the rest of the Buoyants, so it holds its action at slow retrieve speeds.
